Default euro u21's

england squad

Quote:
GOALKEEPERS
Frankie Fielding (Derby County), Jason Steele (Middlesbrough), Alex McCarthy (Reading),

DEFENDERS
Ryan Bertrand (Chelsea), Kieran Gibbs (Arsenal), Phil Jones (Blackburn Rovers), Michael Mancienne (Chelsea), Micah Richards (Manchester City), Chris Smalling (Manchester United), Kyle Walker (Tottenham Hotspur)

MIDFIELDERS
Marc Albrighton (Aston Villa), Tom Cleverley (Manchester United), Jack Cork (Chelsea), Jordan Henderson (Sunderland), Henri Lansbury (Arsenal), Fabrice Muamba (Bolton Wanderers), Jack Rodwell (Everton), Danny Rose (Tottenham Hotspur), Scott Sinclair (Swansea City)

not a bad squad that, could be a decent tournament.

considering the only teams in it are
Belarus
Czech Republic
Denmark (hosts)
England
Iceland
Spain
Switzerland
Ukraine

should be making the final at least

Wilshere should have gone IMO

Wenger is a donut, he should have never had to rely on him soo heavily this season

England need to build from the bottom up, getting these kids used to winning tourno's so they can help out the gash seniors

Promptly hammered by Spain.

Does look quite a decent squad, much less hoof & power merchants & a bit more guile to those in the frame.

A back four of Richards, Smalling, Jones & Gibbs would be better than anyone outside of the top 5 could probably put out & is definitely better than Arsenal's first choice defence imo.

Don't know anything about the keepers at all, but the defence, midfield, and attack is extremely strong. Very impressive for an U21 squad

shouldn't be thinking about winning it. english football needs to develop in the right way, winning this as we are now would be tragic imo

Adopt a Spanish way of thinking, adopt a Spanish way of winning.

It's so £#%&!ing obvious it's untrue, yet all that "English Spirit and frame of mind will see us through".... Yet again? £#%&! off.

Thumbs up Re: euro u21's

looks a decent enough squad and if you throw in the likes of hart, wilshere, rooney, and younger players like morrison, mceachran etc we might actually have a first xi worth watching in a few years. starting to see more players coming through who play football the right way.
