Thumbs up

I'm always loathe to fall, into the "our team have good guys and the enemy team is full of £#%&!ers" type mentality.

However......

Mata does seem like a lovely bloke. I think he's great and it's good to see something like this.

Lovely goal too.

He's the John Cena of United

Comes across as a really nice, intelligent person.

Powderpuff footballer though. Weak arse

Decent second half from him. Took the goal well. Couple of lovely passes over and inside the fullback. G2C

Definitely a less potent attacking force with him in atm.

100 games and a goal every 4 games, often from right mid... robsonesque scoring record

Very difficult to dislike him, but he hasn't done enough this season. Six league goals from 32 starts.

If he does it again on Tuesday though I'll love the little £#%&!er.

Even more impressive when you consider what an anonymous, lightweight slow coach he is

G2C him catch Memphis' record for goals from open play this season

Absolutely lovely bloke. Lovely.

Yeah how dare he only score 15% of our teams total league goals this season.

You do know if he scores/creates more goals, our total as a team goes up

Well of course he shoulder all that, rather than look at the bigger picture which is the fundamental problem with the slow, ponderous way United play, the abysmal lack of quality in wide areas and absolute nothing players like Lingard and Darmian.

Seems like people forget too easily tbh.

Needs 'upgrading' desperately.

Is a tremendous fella though by all accounts. Lovely touch at the end of a very good second half from him. Like I said, G2C

Doesn't help (or make sense) to pick him on the right, with Lingard central

Doesn't make sense to play Lingard at all - he's an atrocious non-entity of a footballer.

If Dunk thinks Mata is a lightweight i'd love to know what he makes of Lingard, i've seen people suffering from Radiation poisoning with more strength.

It does, because he offers nothing in terms of carrying the ball or pressing the opposition or defending, too easily bypassed.
