and Spurs are leapfrogged by Arsenal so no Europa League. If City win the appeal then presumably the Europa league spots go to us, Sheff Utd and Wolves with Arsenal and Spurs missing out

Until of course we win the Europa League

Apparently the government are keen to get the Premier League back to 'boost morales. Could start back on May 30th.

I reckon it will tbh but behind closed doors.

Things are definitely moving in the direction of us ‘opening up’ again imo.

Will send a typical confused mixed message - how can you expect ordinary people to buy into continuing social distancing if players are running about gobbing.

Again, there are already plenty of professions still going where social distancing at all times isn’t possible. At the end of the day, this is just another job.

A cynical and transparent bit of kite flying by the government through one of their pet papers. The obstacles to this are still huge.

If they want to do something useful, then think about getting the cricket season started ASAP - and next season's football launched on time, even with possible restrictions still in place.
