No one knows how long this will go on, The original SARS went on for almost 2 years between the first infection to the final confirmd infection from 2002 to 2004. With only ca 8000 infection. The only thing that prevented the original SARS from bringing everything to a screeming halt was the fact that the transmition rate is much lower than with Covid.
The current SARS-2 aka Covid could stay with us for that exact same period of time depending on how things develop. I wouldn't be surprised if we start to see talks that they cannot start 2020/21 when they have ffinally comes with terms that 2019/20 cannot be finished. Maybe the easiest solution would be merge the two and call it 2019/21. Maybe start again in March 2021?

Sadly, I think by then many clubs would no longer exist.
