They don't even try and hide it any more. The Abu Dhabi mob has British journalism tied around its little finger (or wallet). It's not just FFP. That's the headline. Much worse shit going on underneath.

Oh, and Sparky

They didn't "beat a bent system", they suborned it to suit their needs. It is bent, but in their £#%&!ing favour.

The theme of the article seems to be "It's great that they found a way to bend the rules because otherwise "small" clubs would stay "small". Or rather City would stay small.

Never mind all the other middle-sized/smaller clubs who spend within their means, on the verge of breaking into the top 4 before they were leapfrogged by City. Clubs who don't have the untold wealth of an entire nation behind them. £#%&! them eh, Oliver? If the haven't got their own Shiekh well that's just tough shit amirite?

Thing is we have the likes of Spurs and Arsenal fans cheering city on(in the early days at least)against the big bad man Utd but its those type of clubs who have suffered more than we have.
We've won 30+ trophys in recent memory but spuds and Liverpool have yet to win a PL.

They've all suffered. Because City went up the league but at the same time taking all these other clubs' players off them. Arsenal being a great example. They took Nasri, Adebayor, Kolo Toure, Clichy... They took Stones, Rodwell off Everton. They took Swansea's top scorer off them to sit on their bench every week. Took Kyle Walker off Spurs and Sterling from Liverpool, Mahrez from Leicester.. the list goes on.

Indeed

But the journos are creaming themselves about a club that's just had its success by unlimited spending and a state picking up the tab

Being rawkish here but could utd not sue them for loss of earnings when they pipped us to 4th?(just one example)

Loss of earnings? If we want to go to the court I want the prosecution to strip them off their titles.

Poetic justice to see that Aguero goal made redundant.
