Obviously we all expected a @#%&!ting but those subs were pathetic. Not remotely arsed if he’s binned. Also not remotely confident whoever replaces him will do better. We’re in deep shit.

It has to be admitted that the shit/bizarre subs are becoming a bit of a pattern.

Then again - we don't actually *have* anybody decent to bring on, do we?

He’s a gonner unless there’s some miracle in the fa cup.

There won’t be.

He finally set us up properly for a tough away game. We had a plan to be compact at the back and let them cross the ball. We could counter quickly and if we're honest, it should have been at least 2-0 at half time. Rashford was truly awful.

City are a world class team and we're not. They were always going to score. The way we responded to it was shocking. Especially by EtH. I think it said we had 12% possession after the second city goal. All caused by the insane substitutions.

5th could get CL this season. That might save him.

Awful if that's the case. He's doing OK and I can't see any better alternatives.

The obsession with qualifying for the Champions League is symptomatic of the obsession with cash generation.

Did well today with inadequate tools against a much better team.

I feel sorry for him with the injuries but come on.

He’s got to do more today, or try to.

We just do nothing and make generic subs, it’s weird because last season I thought his subs and game management were good overall.

City were there for the taking on the break, despite how good they are you can get at them.

His game plan got us to 1-0 up 60 minutes ..

C'mon,

Big Jim said any plan would realistically take 3 years. Well we’re pretty much two into this one and I don’t think that’s what they’ll be expecting 2/3rds in.

I think a couple of players would be satisfied with that result - “ at least we didn’t get humiliated”

As soon as the first goal went in there was no fight no response from our lot - just a meek acceptance that our chance had gone

C'mon,
Come on mate.

We went 1 nil up with a great goal. Haaland literally missed an open net before half time.

The club needs resetting, thankfully it seems Ineos want the best people in every position above the manager so we might actually improve.

Not a chance Ten Hag is there next season imo.

For once I don’t think qualifying for the CL automatically means the manager stays.

No matter what we achieve this season, if the new people in charge don’t think he’s taking us in the right direction and they believe they can get someone better they’ll make a change regardless imo.
