Default Fletcher In The Starting XI

We can only get away with this if all the other players around him are really on form. If they ever make chasing shadows an Olympic sport he should pack football in and win himself some gold medals. He's nothing more than an average player who can look okay in a good side but he's not good enough to rely on and imo it's no coincidence both of their goals came from areas where a "holding midfielder" is normally situated/covering. He didn't have a £#%&!ing clue what to do or where to go when the ball was dropping to the lad who scored their second.

The guy £#%&!ing cheats his teamates by running around, pretending to look busy while not actually attempting to win the ball. He can't pass the ball with any consistency. He doesn't score goals. He doesn't win the ball, or unlock defences with runs. What does he do!?
If he cheated his team-mates he wouldn't get a game, simple as that.

Park Ji-Sung was the worst player on the pitch today by far.

park was better than fletcher by a country mile. £#%&!, i don't normally disagree with you laz, rr, but you are spouting shite. yes, he missed a couple of guilt edged chances but if you can't see tsp was worse, i dispair.

Park is busy but doesn't really have much to commend him beyond enthusiasm imo.

Fletcher is woeful and to be honest if we gave away:

Park
Fletcher
Smith
O'Shea

We'd be in no worse situation and would allow a few of the kids some space.

the argument was that park was worse than flech, i can't see that.

i think he has a lot to offer as a squad player. the rest of the hit list is apt.

I normally like Park but today he was poor. Fletcher was better than him today. In truth we have some quality players who were off blob today and cus the rest of the team didn't really step up we pick fault with the mere cogs. Rooney or Ronaldo off blob is okay. Rooney and Ronaldo off blob leaves us short.

Agree with that apart from I'd swap Silvestre for Park. I don't mind Park tbh he is a good player and has only just come back from injury.
