You can’t fight these people mate; they either are of they aren’t. All we can do is provide the platform. Once you get to the point where you start thinking there’s a great player in there if only we try a bit harder, it’s over.

May be a bit hindsight-ey, but even the way the transfer went down had red flags all over it. It was just wrong.
