Think we will enjoy this, pressure is on City and they are vulnerable on the counter. Their defence is woeful. Ours is no better mind you.
2-3

City by 3 goals unfortunately. Going for a 4-1 drubbing.

Cool

Confident about this.

Reckon we could snatch this.

Our cup final

4-2 to us.

Rashers to score a hard trick.

Think we’ll get dispatched with relative ease.

2-0 to citeh

Anything better than that and I’ll be delighted.

Can see us being beat or 3 or 4 nil.

it's a free hit, but we'll swing and miss. both sides are inconsistent, though, so anything could happen. we drew with the mighty liverpool, after all. we might only lose by a bit.

Same team as Wednesday, except Lingard

In a game like this I'd play Mata, he can open up defences with one pass.

Lingard couldn't open his front door without someone showing him how to do it,

Like he did against Villa?

Seriously, when is the last time mata opened a defence with one pass?

I file that with the “mata is a great finisher” myth that some fans have built around him.

These days he’s a five a side player playing in an 11 a side game

Lingard should play for no other reason than we need the legs. Wouldn’t be too bothered though if Pereira played that role instead

Really looking forward to this, and every right to be confident after beating Spurs. Rashford is playing really well, and could pull this pretty average City defence apart. Hopefully with Martial back with him too. No reason why we can't get something out of this.

4-1 City.

Can’t help feeling the win over Spurs has been overstated a bit

I mean I’m definitely team Ole, but it was 2-1 with a penalty, not 4-0.
Worried we might come crashing down to earth tonight.
Then again, score first and who knows. Cautiously optimistic.

We played well against spurs but spurs were dire, I can’t expect City giving us such an easy ride. Want us to win but I fear this will be the game that highlights all our problems.

2-2 is a good shout and would be a great result.

I wish that weren't the case but their best is better than ours. Hopefully we can rattle them with pace.

mata's intelligent movement is a good example to rashford and martial. he's a very smart player. they should watch him during the week in training, though, not on a saturday.

Mata is past it now but he was certainly a very good finisher.

West Ham away, Arsenal home and scousers away all off the top of my head. 4 class finishes. He’s always been good In front of goal.
