What are the other options? It’s not a great midfield but Amrabat hasn’t shown signs of being able to hold a position. Mctominay as much as I don’t like him seems to be as in from as he will ever be.

Eriksen and Bruno are the only two , who have the ability to make decent passes.

He could probably bring in Amrabat for Eriksen or mctominay but it’s hardly a change that will transform the midfield. At the very least it looks like he’s trying to get a consistent selection (or as consistent as he can) to build cohesion and rhythm into the team.

Would like to have seen AWB instead of Dalot but he’s obv not going to be fit/injured again if he’s not in the squad at all.
