Another poor substitution.
Tactically all over the place for most of his time at the club. Even in his finest hour (PSG away) he started the game crazily with a back 5 that shoulda seen us be 3 or 4 down within the first half hour. But then Bailly gets injured and he has to reshuffle.

Sorry but this is probably what was destined to happen once the new manager bounce and luck wore off. The squad has deficiencies talent wise and mentality wise. Keeping him interim till May would have been the wisest thing for a host of reasons. But no, Woodward as always had to react to media pressure.

Can we cancel his contract? Anyone know how much his pay off would cost us? It's worth it however much.

Thanks

And the two wins stunk the place out.

Sanchez has done more in 5 minutes than Lingard has in 5 weeks.

We will get something out of (some of) those games IMO, but the actual football will be as dire as ever.

Shall we not blame the players then? They’ve seen off 3 managers and will see Ole off too.

Will be woodwards crowing glory this, appointing a Norwegian league manager then sacking him 6 months later because he's well, a Norwegian league manager.

One of my favourite ever players, but he's so far out of his depth it's unreal

No hope of changing that as long as the people who actually run the club still run the club

Huge new contract for Jones

In all seriousness I’m not sure if it was the right decision but let’s hope we do good work in the summer and Ole gets the players capable of playing the football he wants

Couldn’t care less about the CL spot tbh, because we’re not winning it anytime soon.

Would love to see Ole bring through the kids in the last few games tbh, I’m sick of seeing the usual suspects shit @#%&! it up on a regular basis.

Let's be realistic - just like the win in Paris didn't mean he all of a sudden was a tactical genius, few bad performances doesn't make him out of his depth. The previous guy said it would take us a miracle to finish in the top 4, Ole has got us on the verge of it. If he achieves it he then has a platform to rebuild this side in the image that is far closer to what we expect from United because he knows what the standards of being a United player is.

£#%&! the CL and 4th. I honestly couldn’t give a shit if we finish 4th or 6th at this point, we’ve become arsenal ffs.

Could mean that the more marketable marquee players wouldn’t want to come to us if we weren’t in it for a couple of seasons and we reset and actually put in place a proper transfer strategy.

Fair enough. I'd rather sack continental football off for a year and go on an all out assault for the league but I don't think it is possible for us to avoid Europa League if we fail to make top 4.
