Football Van Gaal stays - what would you expect him to remedy over the summer?

Disaster strikes: Van Gaal stays.

What do you reckon he learned this season?

Bigger squad?

Less Fellaini?

Just planning for the worst.

Have to agree, tbh. Even top 4 and the FA Cup won't change that now.

He'll continue the restructure of the squad with 4 or 5 signings, probably see one or two of those that let him down this year leave and the youngsters that have performed so well for him promoted to the first team squad on the regular. I'd think his primary concern would be getting to the bottom of the injury issues to enable him to get at least the basis of the same side on he pitch with some consistency.

I reckon he'll get it right too. New deal by Christmas.

Finally, a serious post.

YHGR.

Do you think he'd sell Fellaini?

i'd expect him to bring in 2 or 3 plus a leader for the defence who can play a bit. not sure who, suppose hummels would be ideal...

beyond that he needs to bring januzaj through again, find out if mensah really is the real deal and hopefully pereira too... if he can get that lot blended with the best of the time-served pros we have then he can work on bringing a few more through and making sure that that process is working right through the academy to keep us miles ahead of city's in that regard - yeah yeah i know they built a bridge etc

Slight concern about them. There was a story last week that LvG was appalled at the way the pair treated a recent U21 game and he feels they're not working hard enough to get their opportunity. Would explain their lack of chances in this culture of youth promotion.

Januzaj has taken digs from the Belgian youth set-up for his attitude and Dortmund didn't seem to have much time for him.

Absolutely £#%&!ing nothing. As evidenced by his continual picking of Fellaini

You must be getting a slight twinge over the Rash and T-Murder attack, pal? Something to give the Boss credit for, no?

we shall see. not been impressed with pereira in the few chances he's had in the PL, so hoping he's just a bit slow on the uptake... januzaj is a talent but it's hard to teach someone vision. if he cba learning the structure then hell not survive so it's up to him really

Don't rate Janners. Talented to a degree, nowhere near as good as he thinks he is.

Pereira is an odd one, doesn't seem to be able to get a chance at all.

True. Really should be a wake-up call to both that Rashford and maybe one or two others have really overtaken them.

So much talent in the pair. Hopefully they want it badly enough.
