I suppose the main reason anywhere is if you are singing about a recent manager when you have a new one it appears like you're against the current manager. Obv loads are but its not going to help

On the other hand, always felt he could've related to the support more than he did. Busby was a bit conservative but Tommy Doc, Stein, Shankly, Clough, to name but a few, all got the ground buzzing. It reflected both ways and created an atmosphere. Our away support esp deserve some recognition apart from the occasional player, whom, tbf have made an effort.

He always "give us a wave" It wasn't a bad chant - it got a response.
Question is, why hasn't it been sustained since he packed in?
He's been at most of the games.
