There is another way of looking at this - it's a free hit for Ole - he must know he's in trouble and scraping a 0-0 or a 1- 1 or even a lucky win won't be enough. Its all about the performance he has to go down fighting - not handicapped by having to shoe horn Pogba in. He also has free range to drop anyone.

It's probably the most liberated he can be - the biggest thing today is how we play but it probably doesn't change the long term picture.

Let's hopefully celebrate a great away win. If not the process of change speeds up C'est la Vie.

Almost feel anything could happen. Think they could play with more freedom.

I never want us to lose, can’t bring myself to that point, but I want Ole put out of his misery. There’s not going to be any turnaround and I can’t watch us hobble along as the poor £#%&!er has to come out again and talk about bouncing’ back as a clob.
Can’t wait for your 10000 word dissertation ten minutes in to the second half.

Calm down snowflake

I’m struggling to see where he really changes anything name wise from the Liverpool game. No way he’s dropping the captain and it’s surely very unlikely Donny starts. Maybe Sancho in for Greenwood and Matic in somewhere.

Fancy another red though, possibly Ronaldo or Bruno.

Struggle to give much of a £#%&! about this

If we lose then he’ll limp onto Atalanta (only a big defeat today would get him sacked IMO)
If we win then it’s just another paper over the cracks exercise until the next disaster

Hopefully he has the balls to pick a balanced 11 today that gives us the best possible chance rather than just picking as many of the players he feels pressure to play as possible

Do we play anything other than badly?

We either play badly and scrape a win or play badly and get hammered

I’m fine, babe 😎

Can’t see any big changes, no. I don’t buy this idea it’s a free shot. He’s got the job, he wants to keep his job and he’ll ‘safety blanket’ it.

I reckon it’ll be Varane for Maguire and Sancho for Greenwood. That’s ya lot.

They'll come out against Spurs with their chests puffed out and run around with some purpose for about 15 or so minutes. Like a bunch of chastened children, they'll want to impose themselves but as usual will have no idea how to actually implement it.

Once Spurs have seen off our little early match huff-n-puff session, we'll probably concede a goal from a corner or something and then it'll be cue the clown music.
