Yep, best ever United kit.

Home, I'd go with the European one from 97-00.

Away, easily the black Sharp Viewcam one, made infamous by Eric at Selhurst Park

Best Home kit in my lifetime, imo. Shame about the AIG.

Do certain United shirts immediately make you think of a certain United player?

When I see the 1991 ECWC shirt, I immediately picture Robbo wearing it, the green and yellow makes me think of Kanchelskis, the red lace-up one of Keano, the 99 Champions League final shirt of Beckham and so on.

Does anyone else think like this, or have I had too many White Russians over Christmas.

Well the 75-79 away kit gets me thinking of jimmy greenhoff a bit.

That Admiral one always makes me think of Jimmy Greenhoff and Steve Coppell.

Spot on, 84-85 home shirt which has been on here already, reminds me off whiteside 85", the first home 'sharp electronics' shirt around 83 era, reminds me off arnold murhen, and last but not least the speckled blue and white away shirt we wore in the 92 league cup final, reminds us off that hideous season we lost to leeds...

First one I ever had, my dad bought me the full strip when I was born. Didn't fit me till it was about 3 years out of date though

Was going to put I would love to have my 88/89 kit again in my size now as that was my first ever kit and season I remember going to watch united ....then I seen these links, quality ( or so I thought ) there it was! The 85 blue away was quality.
Really like the 92 blue away, still wear that occasionally now for 5-a-side, it was also our schools kit in 92, but without the united badge which was strange givent he badge was on the shirt in black.

I absolutely loved the 06-07 home shirt, one season Just makes me think of Ronaldo ripping up games and Evra and Vidic emergences. Oh and Larsson.
