I still get the fanzine too, I miss Red Issue and their take on the club but I find UWS gets the line right between being critical and being positive about the club.
RI was good as a break from the norm.... I thought/think UWS is really well written - even my missus, who isn't in to football, likes reading it - especially the older stuff.

Yep. Mitten gets a bit of stick on Twitter sometimes but he is a good writer and has a good life through it. I think his articles are balanced too. People are jealous.

UWS is actually still going? Haven't seen a magazine for around a decade.

At least half-a-dozen sellers at every home match. Half-a-dozen newsagents sell it in town and it has loads of subscribers. Still a top read.

Or not talking about football.

"What's gonna happen?"
"We don't know what's gonna happen".
"Nobody knows what will happen".
"We'll have to wait and see".

10 million people in the UK will not pay £10 per game to watch United.

It’s painful viewing.

I don’t doubt the lads’ top red credentials, but they have very little of interest to say so far. It’s literally at the level of the pub bore.

Yep, pretty challenging so far. Should they not have waited until there was some football being played?

I think even then it’s going to be a bit dull

They need to cut to the chase;

“So tony, tell us about the time you pulled the emergency chord on the football special to Leeds”
