who is the best player you've seen live (aesthetically)

Zidane or Ronaldo. Difficult to split the two. No one could get near Zidane and I've never seen movement like Ronaldo's either before or since. Although the dwarf in goal didn't cover himself in glory.

R9. Just an unbelievable footballer.

Non-United, I always liked seeing Hoddle play.

As for United, RvP & Berbatov were lovely to see in full flow.

I've seen plenty, like others, Messi never blew me away, Ronaldo was always much more exciting...

But then Rooney gave me the most joy....

Non united - was at Ronaldinhos debut for barca against sevilla. Midnight kick off. Made me absolutely gutted we didn't sign him, played like it was beach football. Absolute wizard. Danced across the pitch.

I watched Swindon alot when he was player/manager. He was a different level to everyone else
