I think his wanting to leave had something to do with it too.......

But yeah, the situation is shite. Between them, the two Manchester clubs sum up everything currently wrong with football :shakehead:

I always wondered about the whole horse/coolmore debacle. I kept asking myself surely there is more to this than a man given something for nothing and wanting a lot more.

Still feel like asking the question tbh.

It was pretty obvious the publicity they got from "Sir Alex Ferguson's horse" and all those pictures of him at the races looking flushed and happy was doing very well for them indeed.

Still mate suing for millions for something in which you invested nothing seems a bit rich. He was getting something wasn't he? Was the arrangement that he got nuthin' while being constrained to turn up at races looking flushed?

Seriously though what was the original financial arrangement with fergie that he was unhappy with? I keep genuinely thinking that I have missed something completely.

Don't get me wrong, I thought he was petty and ungrateful. But I also think the other lads didn't handle it the best either. Nobody came out of it looking great.

Least of all Manchester United

I think they threw him a few quid out of the prize money didn't they? Then it kicked off over the stud rights which were far more valuable.

By the way if anyone needs convincing to buy into this wonderful share offer, here's good old Ed Woodward to tell you why you should:

course it £#%&!ing hasn't. you may be aware that he upset a few people last week?

he's apparently entitled to some shares which have been written off as meaningless and unsaleable, all except for his which are apparently as good as sold already for £10m

political manoeuvering ahoy - on all sides. whisper it quietly, but maybe fergie wouldn't mind owning some shares in the club, and maybe that is considered very important as the process unfolds. no doubt old anders will get round to a commentary on this idea some time next year - before 2017 anyway

Think they gifted the horse to him but fergie thought he should have been entitled to a share of the stud fees, a bit greedy and disingenuous .
