Remember the stories of us been in for Petit and Overmars and Silva?

"Ryan Giggs' replacement"
"Petit would unleash Scholes in an attacking postion"
"Fergie sees Gilberto as Keane's replacement."

More recently, Chris Smalling was linked to Arsenal all summer. Welbeck went but, it came out of the blue. Even RVP was, in the grand scheme of things, a quick transfer.

That's all £#%&!ing paper talk. They haven't a notion. Although, if Martial acts the dick again this season, I'm more than happy to get rid

Played very much like an Arsenal player last season tbh. I think he will get another chance this season. He's so frustrating, he could be a devastating player.

I think martials below average season is understandable he is 22...rarely do players in their 2nd season play well. He had some personal problems off the field . Looked a bit miserable but wouldnt you if you were feeding off balls from fellani and rooney.

He will come good. Once the balance of the team is sorted, a striker and rw, there will be less emphasis on teams ganging up on him with 3/4 players and he will have freedom to dribble at players again
