Surely if they cancel it, that means clubs can claim on whatever insurance they have for players wages. ( im thinking this because thats what pubs were moaning about with Boris being dozy. )

Whatever they do, they cannot please everybody. Some clubs are going to get £#%&!ed. Hopefully it's LFC.

Even if the worst happens....it's tainted as £#%&! and is miles better than what was going to happen

Rumour that Arsenal have written a letter to the CAS to not suspend City's European ban while its on appeal. If true it would seem Arsenal expect the 2019-20 season to be voided. They won't get to 5th place to make the Champions League if the season is restarted but they did come 5th in 2018-19 so expect to take City's place.

Very possible, but the chance that might not happen is still delicious isn't it?

It can't happen, surely. The players are all ready to kick off about being treated differently. ..

They'll be a few with underlying health conditions too, that we're not aware of, and that wont be able to risk it.

Cant see this happening tbh. The backlash, considering its money driven, will be immense.

Just knock off what sky are owed over the next three years and they'll barely notice it.

This is something being floated to get the reaction, I have little doubt it will mostly be negative.

Police should tell them all to £#%&! off, it's not essential travel.

Wasn't scholes prone to asthma attacks... Reasonable to assume one in each squad? Plus at risk managers eg Hodgson....

Without an antibody test it would just need one team to self isolate to all fall apart again

Yep, as much as we want football back it has to be safe to do so. Not to just fit in a few games so they can win the league. I think the top 5 euro leagues will all do the same thing.

The English Premier League is reportedly exploring a televised, behind-closed-doors event this summer.

However, that is considered fanciful by senior figures in Scotland.

Carlo has this bang to rights on twitter. Any other club at the top and it's over.

haven't juve , who are in a similar position to the scousers, said they wouldn't accept a trophy if they didn't 'win' it?

no chance this goes ahead. the police wouldn't allow it as you'd still get thousands of fans trying to get near the ground.
