There’s still question marks but we feel like united again. Just a question of how he handles some adversity and tough situations, and the dynamic and expectations will obviously change if he’s made permanent manager.
Everyone at the club needs to have a serious think about whether it’s a few years too soon for Ole or whether he’s ready now. This could be a brilliant learning experience for him which he could take into another premier league job for the next few years and then be the front runner the next time the job comes up. Or is there any point doing that and the time is now. Only Ole knows the better long term choice. Quote:

As it stands, he isn't the manager next season. We know this. He knows this. The players know this. The dynamic changes if he gets the job. It's an odd situation. One we never envisaged and a rare chance for a manager to actually audition for the role. With the three after Fergie, there was always that bit of fear in terms of not knowing how they would handle the job. With Ole, we at least have a glimpse into what he brings. Another thing in his favour is that he fits the criteria of what we actually want from a manager: younger, with something to prove. Positive. 'Gets' the club. Commands respect. Promotes youth. He's not just some ex player. His attributes and personality suit what we need. The big one against him is his lack of experience.... but what better way to get around that than what he's doing right now. He has more experience of managing Manchester United than any manager hired before him. |

If we can get Poch, fine. But atm I can’t see anyone else who should be above him in the pecking order. £#%&! Zidane, Simeone and Southgate .
If we hire any of those clowns it’s not just Ole that goes, it’s the entire coaching crew, and I have a pretty good feeling about the gang of four tbh. |

I honestly don't think he would be any more a gamble than anyone else. And we know how he would choose to go about it. That's crucial. |

Seems to be a lot of narrative already saying we were lucky and De Gea kept us in it. But that first half was the best weve played all season against a decent side. Arguably for longer than that.
Spurs are above us in the table and at home. Of course they were gonna have a go second half. As Neville said on commentary, any decent goalkeeper saves them. Love Dave but he didn't have to pull off any worldies today. Sure, they could've had one or two on another day but we did better than is being made out. Dangerous as £#%&! on the counter Thought Ollie got it spot on tactically today. |

Talked afterwards about changing the system to fit the opposition - something that our last two managers have struggled with. Said to myself let’s see where we are after Newcastle away and spuds away. Struggling to now think of a good enough reason why he doesn’t get it. |

Tentative atm. Needs to follow this up. Liverpool and PSG will be bigger tests and I'll settle for encouraging there if he's still being forced to play Jones. |
