Bye.
Yep. We've seen enough players come through over the years who've shown nothing but have gone on to the lower leagues and done ok but these two have literally shown nothing. Not even a glimmer of something they might offer a professional outfit.

Sign of the times obvs but they also both think they have got something to offer and not on a small scale.

I can tell you now that chong would have fallen over as soon as he felt the touch of the preacher.

lingard and pereira are both internationals. anyone who would play gomes ahead of either of them is mad.

The whole "I love you, I love you not" vibe off him can't have done his chances of getting games any good at all.

Why would the manager give chances to someone who is thinking of leaving the club on a free?

Didn't have the decency to respond to the club's offer one way or another. £#%&! him.

Reminds me of when Perreira said 'his people' were considering his options.

Then his people saw sense, and not a moment too late. This kid should have accepted whatever was on offer and banked what he could before ending up at Shrewsbury Town.

I think he scored a goal in a friendly once.

Have a slight recollection - the only thing I can think of.

Sums up what an utter shit@#%&! he was.

Been linked with Chelsea apparently...

Gomes is better than Pereira and Chong.

In what world is he allowed to leave ahead of Pereira, Jones, Rojo and the like. It's insane.

Jones isn't anywhere near the first team and rojo was sent to Argentina ffs. They're hardly 'ahead of him. They're all as shit as each other.

He isn't better than Pereira or Chong, if he were, he'd have played more.

He isn't being allowed to leave, he's choosing to leave.

Rojo has gone. Jones will be going and Pereira wasn't even involved at Norwich and has 1 cameo against Sheff United since lockdown, which suggests he'll be off soon enough as well, imo. Along with Lingard, Smalling, Sanchez and one or two others. Squad needed culling. Ta-Ta.
