The movement is all towards cancelling and starting afresh.

It is just too difficult to restart.

Lower leagues here, so like English 1st and 2nd, have been officially stopped. Current league positions at 12th March used for league winners, plus promotions and relegations.

For the top two leagues (actually it's a funny one and a half leagues*), no decision yet as teams from both can become participants in next season champions league/Uefa cup competition.

*Would take way to long to explain, you'd best use Wikipedia if you really are that curious.

Would love it if the league season gets cancelled and we end up with a pot or two

Only way they could justify finishing the season imho is if everything is back to normal by June at the latest or if this dragged on till early 2021.

I do sympathise with them, unlike the Dippers.

But they are good enough to do it again next season, which btw would make it exactly 50 years since they were (disgracefully) ejected from the league

Let's be honest

if it were any other team clear at the top the league would have been voided long ago

Let's be honest, if it was any other team clear at the top we wouldn't give a shit if they were awarded the title.

there's something fundamentally wrong with awarding people prizes they haven't won

Imagine if it was us that clear in front ..... The decision would have long been made.

Or am I being paranoid?

If you think last night's clapping was impressive, wait until they cancel the Premier League.
