Default It's not about the money for Ronaldo...

But he has signed for Al-Nassr in a £173m per year deal...

Cristiano Ronaldo's £173m-per-year move to Al-Nassr 'is COMPLETE', reports in Spain claim, as ex-Man United man abandons top-tier football for Saudi cash from January 1

Don't think it is, he just knows he's finished in the top tier and he's too proud to look second rate.

€100m per season in wages and another €100m image rights according to Marca.

Fernando Santos has said he was deeply unimpressed with Cristiano Ronaldo’s behaviour as the forward left the pitch against South Korea and refused to guarantee that the 37-year-old would captain Portugal in Tuesday’s last-16 tie against Switzerland. The head coach insists Ronaldo has been dealt with following his latest outburst but considers the case closed.

A move to Saudi Arabia will come with huge strings attached for their 2030 bid. Messi is an ambassador for them too which is grim. 2030 is the 100 year anniversary of the WC so should go to Uruguay.

When your legs have gone, your legs have gone.

He's not gonna be scoring 25+ per season

Not saying I would ever turn down free money like that, but the romantic in me would like to see a better way of bowing out. But then again, it's Ronaldo and this season has shown he truly on gives a £#%&! about one thing and that's what he sees in the mirror every morning.

btw, how the £#%&! could Saudi get the WC in that region, eight years after Qatar? Knowing those Fifa @#%&!s, very easily. I just read the Saudis are looking at a joint bid with Egypt and Greece

Still think he retires if the win the WC.

That said, moving to Saudi is practically retirement. He’d be stupid to turn it down.
