That's ridiculous. Ball to hand, he's turning out thevway of it, arm pinned in to his chest.

Jesus Christ Lewandowski has bottled this World Cup so hard

So much in football is about mobility / system plays .. very difficult at his age playing against a side that closes the space so quickly & ferociously as France do. Needs a team with supreme technique.

England SHOULDN'T beat France, agreed.

But anything can happen in a one off game, and their defence still doesn't seem the most watertight.

We have a puncher's chance, as they say.

France being seriously overrated.

Probably 60/40 in favour of France.

Punchers chance would indicate we are rank outsiders ffs

I didn't think they were that good at all. Mbappe obviously stepped up but for most of the first half they were very disjointed. You can get at their defence pretty easily.

Poland, who have been utter shit all tournament & are hugely reliant upon Bob caused them all sorts of issues in that first half. No way would England have spurned that many openings & would cause a lot more issues (should they ever decide to attack from the start of a game that would be a decent option as well).

I bet France will be very happy to have 6 days to recuperate & prepare rather than the 3-4 days some sides are getting at this stage. Won't do England any harm either of course but they didn't seem to break sweat last night in comparison.
