England getting the runaround by the US

So much for the pre-match hype. Wales will be fancying their chances at this rate.

So many basic bad decisions it’s like watching Utd. Mount & Sterling are anonymous or massively detrimental depending on your view. Replace both.

Feels like they expected to rock up and stroll this by 2 or 3.

They need a boot up the arse.

England playing like they’re conserving their energy for something.

Strolling about, playing side to side at the back at a snails pace, no movement off the ball. Awful so far.

Trippier is a big weak link as well. He’s been rubbish.

It's like us at our most aimless. Passing it around for no real reason.

Southgate is so slow to change things when it isn't working. The midfield is completely overrun.

The team also have that look where they don't think they have to work for the win. The United look.

Southgate needs to make changes, but he's very conservative generally. England almost look a bit leggy, or maybe just lackadaisical.

I agree with Lok. They have the look of a side that thinks they’ve just got to turn up and win.

Septics finished that half much stronger

They really ran out of puff v Wales though. Comfy 2-0 for England.

England don't have sufficient passing quality in midfield to break teams down

Would've been better for England if the USA had scored early.

People comparing Bellingham to Robson never saw Robson play.

Need to shake this up.

Sterling and Mount off for Rashford and Foden

Grealish for Saka later too.

Another attack floundered upon Mount and USA moved forward a lot there.

We’re the national Arsenal. Fine when it comes off, but mentally fragile.
