The "fan" in question has apparently been arrested, and Wolves say they will be getting a lifetime ban from the club.

Sure I recall the commentator saying that there was some 'reaction' to the players taking the knee pre-game too.

Now i know the people that do this aren't exactly mensa candidates, but what on earth made this particular cretin think he could get away with doing something like that, considering the current situation regarding race abuse in football?

Well, I’m pleased it was spotted/reported and it’s being dealt with. Completely outed, with confidence and they’ll rightly throw the book at him.

Years ago, it might have been the case of some images or video surfacing days later and nobody around him doing anything at the time.

As you say, you’re a #@&%! if you do it in the first place, but a special kind of idiot to try that now. That’s a good thing, I suppose.
