I genuinely don't know what mount does or what he's supposedly good at.

Don’t think this will be the walkover some are predicting.

The only thing stopping England walking this one is Southgate - he needs to play Bellingham & Rice, then Saka, Foden & Rashford behind Kane. Foden central rather than Mount, Kane might actually get a chance rather than setting everyone else up.

Presumably Southgate will revert to same XI that started the tournament rather than evolve the absolute slug.

See Baron’s post above. If Southgate starts with Mount, Sterling etc. then I could see another 0-0 on the cards. On paper England should walk this but any time they come up against aggression and athleticism they come unstuck because their manager is so negative.

I think he'll start Mount. He trusts him. He's a team player. Leads the press. In the video in the op they all think Mount should start. I was surprised. They all think Rashford should start but Sterling is a big favourite and has been for years.

I'm not rashfords biggest fan but he's miles better than sterling grealish and saka.

Good point. Foden and Rasheh brought so much more, but it wouldn’t surprise if the chinless Seinfeld reverted to beige type.

4-0 Senegal.

Spent time in Senegal in 2000 during Sierra Leone ops. Exceptionally nice and highly driven people.

England will struggle against them mentally. Technically England superior but mentally weaker imo. Will be a great game. If England have confidence they'll win, buy they are generally bottlers.

Predicting 2-1 Senegal.

I'm going to try and dance for the full 90 minutes like the Senegal lads.

Bet I don't last until the first throw in

Wasn't that long ago that Mane was crying like a little girl in a Senegal shirt after being booed. What's they gonna be like after Big Declan has snapped them in half. Mentality midgets.

Ah, yeah forgot about that. Taking 22 years ago, great people. Either way, this will be a game of technical ability v raw passion. Reckon passion will win in this instance.

Thank you sir

Saying that, I've just got in from a medium length oddball walk and my bum cheek is aching so I might sit this one out
