Later on?

Or the whole thing?

Reckon they’ll struggle enough today, but should have enough firepower to get past Senegal. Can’t see them getting much further though.

Mate of mine is adamant they’ll plough their way through like an incessant icebreaker on its way to the North Pole. Not convinced myself tbh. Got to admire his optimism.

Won't have a better chance of winning it than this year.

Belgium and Germany out. Argentina don't look all that. Holland look a bit tasty but other than France and Brazil, there's no one to really fear.

there's no one to fear, including france and brasil. there is only our own ineptitude and timidity.

Have a chance.

Biggest plus is the depth of parts of the squad.

A lot depends on Southgate and his choices.

I do think Kyle Walker will play every game if we get past Senegal - back 5 all the way and we will try and Netherlands our way to the final.

Also..and called it early….Maguire is critical at these tournaments. He’s immense in the air. Can see him causing havoc v Senegal.

As good a chance to get to the final in my lifetime

Pretty much this except that, the biggest plus was probably Switzerland’s flag.

More than likely get past Senegal (it’ll be tough)

And then get pumped by France

Difficult game tonight, but should win.

Would be more confident if there was a competent man at the helm. Not much to fear in this tournament outside of France, and they're not an elite side either.

As soon as there's some sort of jeopardy involved he'll fall back on the same old faces. Jordan £#%&!ing Henderson ffs

Saka and Sterling will be back first chance he gets as well.

My biggest problem with him is that his in-game management is clueless. As he has illustrated in the last two tournaments.

They’ve got a chance but haven’t played anyone yet, first decent opponent they faced was the yanks and they were the better side…

Biggest test tonight imo. If they get through this they could go on to semis at least.

Fearing the usual lack of confidence though and inability to justify multi million quid wages.

Don't underestimate Senegal. Predicting mental weakness from England and utter drive from Senegal.

France is the one team that is better in 8 or 9 areas of the pitch .. also in their side of the draw .. can't see them moving past it. If they were in the other side of the draw then a path to the final would be eminently possible.
