jonny evans

is going to be pushing vidic for his place if he keeps going. i don't think i've seen a young defender come into the side and look so comfortable and so in control for years. absolutely outstanding this season imo.

The biggest compliment you can give the lad is that you don't notice Vidic is missing.

He's been better than Vidic so far this season.

what I like about him is while vidic just hoofs his clearance evans tries to pass it. Another thing is he is comfortable with both right and left foot.

We do indeed... he's nowhere near as good as any of the golden nuggets that Arsenene has unearthed in London though.. that's why it never gets mentioned.

having seen him on loan etc while he always looked decent I never thought he'd be anything like this good. Vidic may have to watch himself but I would think Brown has the most to lose, he will be gutted.

I hear cathcart is as good as evans if not better.

How long can we keep him happy though, with him knowing he'd walk into practically any other Premiership team?. Fergie definitely seems to be trying to give him as many games as he can, more so than he ever did with Pique but will it be enough?.

don't let that stop the hyperbole after his replacement for one match has a decent game, though
