Any other manager and like we’ve seen with Mou and Van Gaal they’ll take the brunt of the shit from the fans.

I’m happy for him to keep his job just for that reason tbh.

Would be great if he walked and called the owners and Woodward out but that’s just not going to happen.
Oh there's no chance. Managers don't resign these days. Why should they tbf?

Just be good if he did.

It was interesting to watch the fans last night because there was clear anxiety and discontent but it wasnt aimed at Ole.

Ultimately, I don't think it'll make much difference. Those parasites will go when they feel like it.

Thing is I’m not sure any top manager would want to come here. I really do feel for Ole in all of this, he’s being asked to work miracles and although he’s out of his depth the situation hasn’t been helped by those above him.
Asking him to beat Burnley at home or the likes of Bournemouth away isn’t asking for miracles
It’s asking for the minimum expected

He could walk which would be a statement in itself but l don't think he will. I guess if he resigned he might have more freedom to speak out.

If he resigns he can do what he wants. Would give up a lot of money but would be a hero forever.

That's the dream. Full disclosure

Unlikely though obv.

Wouldn't things like NDC's and contractual obligations still be in effect even if he walked? He'd just be giving up a payout wouldn't he?

if ole says he is happy then we have to judge him on the squad he was happy to go into the season with.
then theres the fact why wouldn't he be happy. he is in a job he doesn't deserve, a job that's at a level he would never possibly get close to getting again.
a job he hasn't proved himself to be capable of doing .

we have a amateur at a wheel and your only kidding yourself making excuses for him.
and as the excuses keep coming...he runs out the shade you guys cover him with to be exposed even more...

-we don't beat the big teams anymore
-the high press he said he'd integrate pre season lasted 2/3 games in august
-the tactics are nowhere to be season
-the squad is not fitter that before he took over
-no one can point to anything on the footballing side that he has improved

What a load of %@#$&!s.

You’re right of course. Burnley, Bournemouth, Watford. Utter dross. We should not be losing all those ffs.
But some of the players make me sick. Martial is a total £#%&!ing fraud, bags of talent with zero effort or application. Should be at PSG scoring against Amiens and Metz. Shaw is another, absolute mess of a player.

A week to go imo

No signings and he either walks (he won’t) or he’s a dead man walking and gets replaced in the summer

Shameful all round, but as a club we’re shameless.

I think it will be for the best. As someone said, this isn’t a fairytale. We can’t expect him to be a success just because we want him to be a success.

He’ll probably try and add Rojo into the deal to lower the price even more.

[quote=shenwen;5320141]Feel for Ole and if he doesn't get the support he needs in this window he should walk and hold on to some dignity.

Won't.

Remember when Sky offered a billion for us 20 odd years ago. am I right in thinking the deal wasn't allowed to go ahead because it wasn't in the public `interest`?

fast forward 20 years and here we are and we've had a billion fleeced out of us in no time at all.

Man United as we knew it, is no more. Woodward is great at signing up deals with lubricant companies that work wonders with an engine for a Massey Ferguson, but his football nous is non existent.

Wonder what happened with the fee for Young?
