[SIZE="4"]Man United - Last 5 games [SIZE="4"]Chelsea - Last 5 games [SIZE="4"]Team News: Man United: Maguire suspended with a one match ban. Varane still out injured. Eric Bailly is available to partner Lindelof. Luke Shaw being assessed to see whether he’s OK to play again after concussion last week. Pogba out ‘injured’, Cavani “battling” to overcome a tendon injury to be fit. Greenwood will be available after a positive Covid test. Chelsea: Kante came off with a knock midweek, but will probably be OK to play. Chilwell is £#%&!ed. Lukaku should be fit after sitting on the bench against Juve, as should Werner. Havertz and Kovacic could miss out. [SIZE="4"]Previous Meeting: We last met Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on the 28th February 2021 in what turned out to be a drab affair. The only thing of note during the game happened in the 15th minute, when a clear Hudson-Odoi handball was not given as a Man United penalty, despite being reviewed by VAR. At a time when penalties were being given for even the most innocuous ‘handballs’, Hudson-Odoi punching the ball at head height was considered fair game. Both sides had half chances to win the game during the remainder of the game, but neither team could convert. Bore draw. [SIZE="4"]Match Tit Bits We are unbeaten in our last 7 Premier League games against Chelsea, this is the longest Chelsea have gone without a win against us since a run of 10 games from 1938 to 1950. We’ve kept four consecutive Premier League clean sheets against Chelsea, the only team with more consecutive clean sheets against Chelsea in League football is Newcastle, who managed 6 between 1913 and 1919. We have won three of the last four games away at Chelsea in all competitions (the other being a draw). This is after having won just 3 of our previous 25 visits to Stamford Bridge. This will be the 5th time we have visited Chelsea at Stamford Bridge while they are top of the league. They have won three, and gone on to win the title in all three seasons. We are unbeaten in our last 11 Premier League games hosted in London; winning 7, drawing 4 and winning the last three in a row. We last won four consecutive league games away in London between May and November 2005. [SIZE="4"]Match Prediction:
Phil Jones is going to start. |

Defense is a massive worry but the change in personnel might be what’s needed. Can see a packed deep midfield to compensate with a hope of hitting them on the counter. Can see something like:
De Gea AWB—-Lindelof—-Bailly—Shaw Fred—McTom—Matic Sancho—-Bruno Ronaldo Won’t be pretty |

I’ve had a recurring premonition of us losing four or five nil with Bailly doing something stupid to give a goal away after 10 minutes and Lukaku scoring the last goal and cupping his ears/doing some shush celebration to the away end. Like the c*** he is.
Given my track record betters should probably pile on us winning though. |
