Nani needs to play 90 minutes imo, so this would be as good a game as any to give him a run.

I'd love to see a midfield three of Fletcher, Carrick and Anderson (remember how they tore into Arsenal in last seasons Cup game?), but it won't happen. We've played 4-4-2 all season so far, I don't see it changing.

We need to put in a good performance in a tough away game...be nice if we could finally score a goal against these @#%&!s too?

That Boy Ronaldo!

Da Silva will start, Fergie basically admited that in his press conference which i feel is good news, will give us an attacking threat down the right hand side and put them on the back foot more.

For me it's:

Foster

Da Silva
Rio
Vidic
Evra

Nani
Carrick
Fletcher
Ronaldo

Rooney
Tevez

Lets get the game won, take off Ronaldo/Rooney/Tevez for Sunday.

Tevez will score if he starts tonight

Neville hasn't travelled.

Squad: Foster, Kuszczak; Evra, Rafael, O'Shea, J.Evans, Ferdinand, Vidic; Fletcher, Possebon, Anderson, Carrick, Ronaldo, Park, Nani, Gibson, Giggs; Rooney, Tevez, Manucho.

Foster
Rafael
Ferdinand
Vidic
Evra

Fletcher
Anderson
Carrick

Nani
Tevez
Rooney

No point in risking Ronado, save him for City.

In fact I wouldn't be unhappy to see Evans and Posseban given a run out.

I hope so. Love watching the young lad play - he's been one of the few positives of the season so far.

I wouldn't risk Ronaldo at all, save him for the derby.

We could do without tonight. I think it's got draw written all over it. Both sides will progress and both sides will be happy.

Frankly, I'd happily lose it and finish 2nd in the group if it meant winning the derby.

No way would I start Ronaldo. Nani needs games, as does Anderson - get them in. I'm sure Rafael will start too. I'd go with:

Foster

Rafa
Rio
Vidic
Evra

Nani
Anderson
Carrick
Fletcher

Tevez
Rooney

I think Fergie will go for something similar to that, but with Kusczaczaczzcsazk in goal.

I just want to win at the weekend

Sorry, don't always read your first post. So eager to hear the sound of my own voice, you see.

Don't think Evans for Rio is too much, no. I trust Evans. If we put out a stronger team tonight then we can really dip into the squad for the Aalborg game. But nothing should come at the expense of Sunday. We must win at City and I really think that doing so will give the team confidence and kick start our season properly.
