Tbf there may have been a case for starting Henderson last night simply because Sheffield United is his former club, so he at least might have been up for it.

What about giving pope a chance ? Subject to extensive background checks and yewtree clearance etc..
Real Madrid doged bullet with that one, not United considered what both club have won since then.

can't imagine he'll be the #1 at the start of next season let alone finishing out this season based on his form over the past 18 months

If we had compent manager then yes, but I have no faith in Ole doing the right thing and droop him, I'm fully expecting ole to start him vs Arsenal.

3 shots on target, 3 goals conceded. Not a good sign.

Let him have his "dream move" to Madrid in the summer, he's waited for it long enough.

He has become a complete liability.
The season we came 2nd under Mourinho, DDG had one of the best individual season's I can remember from a United player, however he has largely been shite ever since, and point gaining interventions are hard to remember, wheras £#%&! ups and being a complete fanny has become common place.

Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea is the highest-paid footballer in the UK earning £19.5 million per season at Old Trafford. De Gea is in the midst of a six-year contract at Manchester United that will pay him a whopping total of £177m by the time the deal ends in 2024. The shot-stopper pulls in a weekly salary of £375,000, more than any other play in Premier League history.
Appalling

Absolutely gutted

To who? Real and Atletico certainly won't be in for him.

I think there is a correlation with him losing a bit of sharpness from getting a big contract plus the team around him being weaker. Our defence in 2017/18 made him naturally feel more confident.
