I didn't think rooney would make tuesday tbh. The hip injury looks like one where you have to rest it for at least a week.

Sorry for saying something positive about a United player after a well taken goal.

I'll keep it shut from now on

...or every time I praise Rooney for something I'll clarify it by saying something bad about him too.
Just to balance it out a bit.

He'll have a pain killing injection & play.

Risky but if he doesn't get another knock on the injury he'll be OK.

Rooney needs to be more mobile than he was in Spain to play the central role against Puyol. The chances are he'll be about the same or worse. I don't understand why he started the game yesterday, but hopefully he'll make it and I'll be wrong.
