Looks a centre forward

Play Martial left , Ighalo middle and Greenwood right
Goals goals goals

Absolute pleasure to see him play and to witness his first goal. Absolutely love the lad

Loved the goal. Sees the ball going to Mata and just runs towards goal. Can't remember the last time one of our attackers actually did that

He doesn’t look sharp at all but takes up the right positions at least. Hopefully that goal will settle him but he could have had a lot more tonight.

He’ll be getting slated within a matter of weeks nqat.

This.

Delighted he got a goal but he looked every inch a Chinese league reject at times.

Deffo gives us something different though and expect him to bag a few

Well no one else really does
Thought he tired 2nd half but very impressive first half

Good reference point for the attack and took up good positions in the box

He could have had a lot more if he knew what to do with the ball before it starts bouncing around between his feet

thought he was great in the first half. Proper number 9. back to goal. Linking play. Runs in the box. He brings something our other forwards haven't got.

I skipped most of the second half so may have been less good, but still a decent full debut.

lets face it he was facing a pretty average team and he ran his %@#$&!s off.

His level is probably that Unicef match with Robbie Williams and Patrick Kielty.

Thought he did well, especially off the ball. Ran the channels, moved their back line around constantly and got into goalscoring positions (and bagged )

Wasn't expecting some sort of uber-striker, but he's definitely competent and would prefer to see him start as a centre forward above Martial at the moment.

He's basic but will work his socks off - let's hope he's better than Alan Smith - but in front of Martial...very early to be on the sauce.

Are you for real? Any decent centre half would have him in his pocket. He's a loan player to offer back up and some on here are making him out to be some worldie because he scored a tap in and ran a lot against a 10 man bang average team

I would definitely play him as CF in front of martial. Let martial play left. He’s not a CF - Ole’s been telling us this for weeks

Yes. Martial can play on the left and the right can be rotated between Greenwood and James.

Think I specifically said he's not a worldy, just competent

But a competent Centre forward is better than Martial playing as a centre forward.
