But Lukaku should be aiming for 125 goals over the next five years, which would put him past 200 before the age of 30

Anfield is a big test for him. Not sure what his record against them is like.

Only one at anfailed

but has 4 or 5 against them in home games

Can see him killing lovren and matip next month, so ordinary players

Oh no doubt, but most games at Anfield end up being tight, horrific games. Pressure is so intense. Will be a good test of his nerve. Btw he has 176 senior career goals at 24

As mentioned though, United at Anfield is rarely an open game. Pressure is next level shit, too. It's unlikely he will get several chances. It may be a game where he doesn't touch the ball much and only gets one opportunity. Will be an interesting challenge for him.

liverpool's centre backs and goalkeeper are awful. lukaku hattrick from probably 10 chances.

unless fellaini plays.

Couple of injuries and even figures like that go completely out of the window. I think the only player in United's history who has got 25 or plus in league games in consecutive seasons is Denis Law.

Yes, it's hard. But he has a shot. Never seems to get injured either.

Shattered leg at anfield nailed on.

Rooney must be very close to Shearer in goals from open play.

Would probably help if he didn't miss penalties, would probably have 2 more goals already..

The Liverpool defensive unit is dross but the challenge for him will be the tempo and manic pressing of Liverpool. If his technique stands up , if he can take pressure off and hold the ball up, it will be a great sign.

For Matic as well actually, has been great so far, different type of challenge against Liverpool. Players of their size can sometimes struggle when the pressing is very intense, going to be a real clash of styles if Utd go there with Matic and Fellaini in midfield, assuming Pogba is out.

Fellaini pushing up as the out ball to break the initial press will be an obvious ploy.

You've got to be honest with yourself...

He's a cumbersome, unattractive £#%&!ing mess at times...

Gets in the right sort of spaces though...

The last thing you want to do with that Liverpool team is allow them to rush you and play the game at their pace.
