Meh

Tackling puts you down to ten anyway.

I'm not talking about tackling, just being able to stand up and not get out-muscled by every player on the £#%&!ing pitch would be a start. See Ashley £#%&!ing Young as an example of what Modric would bring to the side.

Still has the consistency of a paper bag, regardless of his ability.

Ramires would be amazing for us too.

Where do they find these players who can tackle, run and pass??! Not exactly asking for Messi are we.

Paper bags are very consistent, why else do you think they have been a staple for use by major supermarkets globally for decades

They still get blow away in a slight breeze, can be crumpled into a ball with the minimum of fuss and effort and tear when under pressure. They are cheap options is all. Which Ashley Young was and Modric would be...

Carrick is hardly powder puff, and despite his troubles at Real, Modric is a proven Prem player to the extent that he was wanted by both United and Chelsea. I'd prefer Cabaye, but depending on the price, Modric would certainly be an upgrade on what we currently have.

Who do you want, Lou Ferrigno?

looks like i got it wrong. Spurs have told united Bale is theirs for 70 million.

This is the same Gareth Bale who was played on the right wing at the weekend and couldn't use his right foot.

Considering he's in his 60's and has probably never kicked a football in his life, no, not really

Modric would barely be an upgrade on Cleverley.

Apparently, Bale doesn't want to move abroad - very much a home bird, wants to be near his family etc etc.

So - looks like he'd come if we were interested / have the money.

If you can't trust a pissed up guy in a Kebab House then who can you trust?
