I take your point, but we're still Man Utd. I'd be surprised if that did not have a masssive appeal for him, even given the state we're in compared to them at this moment. Ji Sung Park is a superstar over there and a big part of the reason for that is because he played for us. He wasn't a great player. United are massive there.

As you say, Son is one of the best forwards in the league - quietly and hypelessly so. He seems to have a great attitude as well.

It's all hypothetical, obviously, but I'd much rather we push the boat out for him than the likes of Bale, Coutinho, Dybala etc.

Dealing with Levy was tough enough when we were good.

We MIGHT get him, but it would be a huge drawn out saga and we'd potentially lose time and targets.

He's valued and on the rise there.

I'd rather we were a bit more shrewd.

Young, hungry players that want to be here. Get them in and integrated early.

De Ligt doesn’t want to come here any more than Kante did. Amazes me people still whinge about us not going for him when he wanted to go to Chelsea all along. Same with De Ligt, he wants to go to Barcelona. Sooner people get over that the better.

We WERE Manchester United. We're merely a ghost of what we used to be now.

De Rossi? Getting on but still has a couple of seasons in him. Would help until a younger player can replace him (assuming we use a strategy)

Grit? Nastiness? Premier League Experience?

Lee Cattermole. Only logical choice.

Not sure you read the Premier League experience part Bazzer

Forward line of

Bale Vardy Rashford James tin hat on!

would get goals. Would not buy Bale but if on a loan deal

Previously couldnt stand Vardy but we could do a lot worse as he often gets 20 ish goals a season, can be a nasty little £#%&!er. all 4 of them can score and have pace in abundance. honestly think that would be a very hard working forward line.
