Noticed 2001 was trending and had no idea why

It seems the BBC are screening some of his fillums in association with the Design Museum who are having a retrospective

The exhibition features about 700 objects, films, interviews, letters and photographs. Expect to see a detailed model of the Centrifuge-set that Kubrick had developed for 2001: A Space Odyssey; film props such as the infamous Born-to-Kill helmet worn by Private Joker in Full Metal Jacket, costumes designed for A Clockwork Orange and Barry Lyndon and much more.

Fellow almost an extra well met

I was going to be an extra in Yanks but refused the haircut and Warren Beaty's Reds which transformed the Zion Centre in Hulme into the Smolny Institute but didn't get up in time .Needless to say the revolution started without me

Watched Eyes Wide Shut tonight. Not so impressed.

Clockwork Orange my personal fave film of his but 2001 is the more impressive directorial achievement.

it was shit. could see the seeds of a good film there but they never let him make it. the analysis of the film was better than the film itself.

None of those really grabbed me.

Haven't seen Clockwork Orange. Don't like 'controversial' films.
