He'll play Jones in midfield to compete with Stole's thugs, no doubt about that. Expect him to play Welbeck up front too just because he's tall.

my palms are sweating with excitement already.
I don't know about you guys but I fancy us to keep Stokes possession down to about 65% tomorrow with Jones & Fletcher pulling the strings.
As Moyesie always says, I'd take a draw right now.
With battlecries like that it's no wonder we're still in with an outside chance of 5th place

hopefully we'll be as good as we were in the LC and keep the @#%&!s quiet as per

Actually didn't know who we were playing this weekend. Anyway another miserable defeat.

We just seem to keep playing Stoke, Sunderland & Swansea every week lately.

I expect us to win tomorrow but we're so far off the £#%&!ing pace that there's no edge to any of the games right now.
Nobody above us is giving us a sniff by dropping any significant points & we're making hard work of every single opponent regardless of where they are in the table or if they're actually any good or not.

Stunned that Moyes hasn't moved heaven & earth to strengthen central midfield this window.

Not looking forward to the midfield combo

But excited to see what sort of link up we'll have between RVP, Mata and whoever else

my theory is;

he didnt think we'd start the season off so badly and rightly or wrongly when he came in he sort of just let the players get on with it. which i dont blame him for, wasnt like he was taking over Sunderland or anything, we won the league at a canter last season

so i dont think there were many if any players on the transfer wishlist for Jan.

the Mata signing was one of a one-off, just because he was a available, i honestly dont think it was any indication of our jan transfer business

its a bit of a concern though, especially if you factor in that story posted on here the other day about some senior players not rating Moyes

bit odd he didnt just bring in some of his 'own guys' even if they were loan signings in this window

would have given everyone a lift and maybe earned him a bit more respect i dont know....
