Good professional performance

Controlled it well however the attack never really clicked into gear

Sancho took his goal brilliantly however the front 3 were poor
Anthony neat and tidy but lacking the confidence to take players on and Ronaldo aside from his pen was god awful (really sad to see his decline)

Varane, Malacia and especially Martinez were excellent

Lots of work still needed with this side but that was encouraging

Hope Ronaldo plays every minute in the internationals and bags a few.

Could do with Casemiro, Maguire, Shaw, Lindelof, Fred etc. all playing plenty of International football tbh.

The forwards options are threadbare imo.

I’m still holding out for him not having a preseason. Maybe a couple of 90 min games with Portugal and he comes back sharp. Lacking a bit of confidence too. (Atleast that’s all I’m hoping )

If there is one thing he has ever not lacked, it's confidence. Looking his age against good athletes, not even necessarily good defenders. Days are gone Ron, gutted as I am to say it.

Pro performance from the team, low gear 2-0 win away against team that tried to raise their game because it's utd. Would take that every week.

It's sad to watch tbh.

The old saying 'never go back' has never been more apt. Last season he shone in a dreadful side, this season he looks increasingly his age.

Should have moved to portugal or somewhere in the summer

Was almost like a preseason friendly. Good to keep the lads’ fitness levels so that they can go and get injured playing for their countries.
