I worked in a cash and carry aged 15 - recognise that pork with pink stripe thing anywhere. We used to sell massive bags of it for 80 quid.

Yeah that's what I thought. I watch a Youtube channel that shows you how to make Chinese takeaways exactly like shop bought; I spent a whole Saturday afternoon making about 6 dishes which tasted exactly like takeaways. Cost a fortune (more than shop bought).

Told r'kid all proud and that and he asked the very pertinent question 'why the f*** didn't you just go to the takeaway'.

Didn't really have an answer tbf.

24 hour old Chinese takeaway f***ed into a bowl. There were a good few little jumpy flies that must have got through the microwave air vents last night and were all over it but I microwaved them to death.

Flaming chicken Szechuan, shredded chili chicken, steamed rice and chips. The chips taste like sticks of chalk, the rice is dried out but the rest is surprisingly okay, flies and all. I'll probably get the shits again after it like I did last night mind. Snot is running out my nose, eyes and ears as I type
