Hype works though, Read an article in the Guardian and it was all about him and Molly, neither of whom register in their respective rankings. Meanwhile the lad whose win could propel him to at worst an interim title shot by year end barely got a line.

Personally think that fight confirmed he's the real deal.

Every fighter looks beatable the mythical boogeyman fighter does not and never will exist.

Was a proper battle. Thought Burns did exceptionally well to weather the storm of the first round. Both as hard as they come (with the exception of Usman). Think there's some great match ups to be made in that division.

Volkonovsky was on a dfferent level and surely untouchable at Featherweight, though...

Was good to see Khamzat humbled a bit.

You could see after the fight he knew he had been in a war. The good news for him is that as against one of the top fighters in the world. The bad news is that there are at least two who are better. Still, some performance from a lad who has fought four times in the UFC. I don't like him and his neck beard smesh nonsense, but can't deny his talent.

Volk was almost perfect. he's beaten the division's best stand up fighter, it's best BJJ fighter and no it's most unpredictable and durable fighter. Saying he might go up one or even two divisions if the featherweights don't step up

Rewatched the first round of Aljo vs Yan. I thought it was close in real time, but Yan definitely took that round. He was robbed by the decision.

f***ing love Oliveira. Look forward to him getting the belt back. Could end up one of the best LW of all time. Been saying for a while that Gaethje isn't on that level. Gets lucky with haymakers. Was pretty easy for Charles in the end, even though he went down twice.

Chandler sounds like a great guy - a fight against Conor would be superb entertainment.

Mention for that absolute stinker of a fight. Rose at the post-fight salty as f***. You did nothing. You deserve nothing.

I skipped most of the rose fight after the first round.

Deserves to lose her belt in that fashion after an effort like that. Worst title fight of all time? Rose has never been dominant in her fights and always rode her luck.

Without question. Francis v Lewis was bad but not for title. A champion refusing to engage for a whole five rounds should be ceremoniously stripped of the belt in the middle of the octagon. Esparza didn't deserve the belt either but it's the champ who has to deliver.

Never liked the hype around Rose. Same with Gaethje. And Whitman was dreadful in the corner. "Your'e the best martial artists in the world" after four rounds of literally doing f*** all.

Still, the card was worth it for Oliveira. Man's a beast. He's on a phenomenal run. One of best in LW history.

he's getting there. If he steps up and takes lightweight title then he'll be a serious contender for GOAT.
