Better off not posting anything on social media, IMO. Every throwaway remark is a public statement that stays "on the record" forever [probably].

Bound to bite you on the arse at some point, if you post enough.

Anonymous forums are where it's at, NQAT.

Even if you delete your posts/account, if you are a remotely public figure people will have retweeted/quoted it. Not worth the risk unless you know what you are doing.

Of course what the moron said was jokey but out of context it doesn't look good.

It should not matter and the world is a worse place because it does.
just stop pandering to the shame bully mob. Release a statement that hes staying and that’s that. Mayb a photoshoot of fizzer jokily one bombing the englands captain (whoever she is) wearing a giant boxing glove.

If it was the United job (or even Scunthorpe) i'd be inclined to ride out the hounding from the faux-outragers.

But for the England womens job?

Not disagreeing, all the more a shame because in some respects social media is a thoroughly good thing.

Arguing he's got no coaching experience in Women's football is bizarre given that for all his failing's he's been a first team coach for Everton, Manchester United and Valencia, which for all I support the cause of genuine equality is a higher level of football by several country miles than Doncaster Belles and Millwall Lionesses.

It's also shot down by the fact that Mark Sampson had never coached higher than Bristol's academy and he still put up a better record than Hope Powell.

Shouldn't have a bloke managing the women's team anyway. We've already got the men's game, let the women's game be run by women.

Let them have women managers, refs, officials, everything. Have a women's FA set up and run by women. Then only let in women fans in to watch it.

Then give women's football and women's sport it's own tv channel and news network so I don't have to £#%&!ing listen to it all on Sky Sports News when i'm trying to find out about proper sports.

Then you can say "there you go, there's your game and the whole enchilada, now £#%&! off and leave us alone."

Maybe if they were offered free handbags or beauty products they might.

How about letting women play in the men's game, see how many would get in the top twenty tiers of the game.
