I know he’s not the long term answer, but the fact this is Mata’s FIRST PL appearance is ridiculous. He’s shown more composure and care on the ball than most have all season.

by the way the reason we are always going wide and going for crosses is because we have a striker who immobile and can’t run with/without the ball

I thought the whole idea of signing him was to create chances for him knowing he’d probably score a few.

Blaming whatever has happened this season on our 37 year old top scorer would at least deflect the attention from the likes of Pogba though.
