In serious danger of becoming a modern-day Ryan Giggs (without the medals). Abysmal again.

Garnacho for me. Surely he deserves a chance. Unfortunately Elanga may be blocking his progress but I see more goals in Garnacho.

Everything we’ve been criticising him for came to the surface today. Slow, passive and lacking any real urgency. Confidence seems shot, which is strange because the team is generally playing well and looking good.

Playing his way out the side and I wouldn’t be surprised to see him pick Elanga this week. He’s shit, but he showed more urgency in his cameo than Sancho did all game.

It's a mental thing. He's a far better player than he's showing. He never trusts himself atm. It's all do a couple of tricks and pass it back. He passes it back sometimes after he's beaten a player. It's odd.

This. Just seems to be playing within himself.

Thought he'd been playing a bit better until the berties game, but he really lost his way in that and had a thousand yard stare since.

Yep, everything he did a Dortmund was fluid, he was perpetual motion, here he’s stop/start all the time. Playing with these @#%&!s last year has confused him and sapped his confidence. Erik will sort it.

He'll be out the side 100% after that performance today. Much needed, get Elanga in. He's raw, but at least he'll go for it and won't be shit scared of accidently creating a chance

As above he just doesn’t back himself at the moment. Confidence is a killer.

He’s 22 with all the ability in the world. He just needs to get to a point mentally where he remembers that, and to stop being afraid of making a mistake.

Ten Hag must believe in him as he continues to give him plenty of opportunities, while Sancho is giving him every reason to drop him.

The problem is Elanga is shit. Sancho can at least control and pass the ball and interchange with those around him, Elanga struggles with everything.

He has electric pace which does provide an outlet.

Doesn't seem to be getting any better does he? Elanga is still raw but at least he tries to take players on - got us the free kick for the goal by being positive.

Sancho would still have been shaking his foot over the ball.

£#%&!ing German league always fails to deliver

A real worry, can't even beat man these days....

A few half arsed step overs and freights and then passes backwards.....

His understanding and link up play with the fullback is also a hindrance these days....

Where's this guy gone ?
