Had flu for a few weeks, apparently. But no, he's back now.

Thumbs up Re: Ravel Morrison

Henry Winter seems to think he will be a fantastic player, if he can keep his head right

I work with the wife of a european cup winner, her husband raves about the lads ability,(he now works with the Ingerlund set up) It's the lads mental state/mates that is the problem, as has already been stated.
I believe he lives with his grandparents

Winter on Morrison:

"Better than Kieran Gibbs and Jack Wilshere, certainly up there with Jack Rodwell, if Morrison does emerge as the pre-eminent English footballer of his generation, it will be because of a certain Scot's shrewd guidance. "

From what Ive seen of him on the youth matches on MUTV, he looks top draw, and cant wait to see him making a couple of appearances next season in the micky cup!

Think the main hype about Brandy was when he was younger than Morrison is now. He was considered a potential world beater at 13 or 14 but never really shone all that much in the U-18s I believe. Didn't grow much either which didn't help his cause. Morrison has definitely got something extra but as has been said ad nauseum it's all about his mentality.

Problem was he was always a midget, so there were slight doubts about him, and he broke his leg as well, slowed down his progress.

Ah, I only saw bits of that game, the Burnley one and I watched a couple of Saturday morning games and didn't see him, thought he must be injured. Let's hope he can push on, we haven't had a 'wonderkid' teenager tearing up the 1st team for a good few years now.

I was told that at he'd been suspended by the club for theft, don't know any details but obviously United have relented as he did play against Blackburn (sub I think).

They would have given him a professional contract on his 17th birthday no matter how much trouble he's caused because if they didn't he would be able to sign for another club & with a player as tallented as he is there would have been plenty of offers.
