Can't wait to see Utd in full flow next season. Harranging the opposition, tearing down the wings, devastating breaks....

Stupid question, didn't even deserve an answer. Played it well.

You maybe could if the question was less dishonest in the first place. Well played from JM, tbf.

Making a dumb comment then claiming others are too dumb to understand it isn’t clever, it is dumb.

Taking a small phrase from a longer paragraph to suit an agenda is dumb.

United under Fergie had a balance. It was built on a solid defensive foundation, as are all the successful ‘attacking’ teams. That always comes first for the successful managers who play ‘attacking’ football. Fergie’s united was often at its best when it soaked up pressure and counter attacked.

Newcastle under keegan were attacking. Docherty’s united were attacking. They weren’t balanced. The best united teams were balanced, whether busby or Fergie. Fergie used to go mad when the team or any player neglected the defensive duties. Now it seems it’s negative to ask any ‘attacking’ player to perform those defensive duties. These people’s idea of attacking football is a myth when it comes to united. The successful attacking teams also do the boring, professional donkey work. Their success is built on the foundation of a dependable defence and that has to come first.

Castles] Podcast Going into detail on the current Impasse between Board and Mourinho

Mourinho wanted five signings - Fullbacks, RW, CB and CM. He identified signings quite some time back.

Mourinho has given up on a new LB now, even though he does not want to go with just Young and Shaw . Targets are a CB and RW.

Mourinho wants an experienced RW in either Willian or Perisic. Board are not willing to chase either because of age and price tag. (Chelsea apparently rejected 60m bids for Willian) Alternatives are Sarr and some French U-21 kid. Malcom was apparently one of those identified as a RW target several months back, but board dithered.

Mourinho feels the board are not desperate to win the title and are happy with a top 4 spot. That's why he is so grumpy. He does not understand why Woodward has done nothing after signing Fred. He is also grumpy about injuries and not having his squad with him.

The ESPN interview was aimed as a challenge at Pogba and to his entourage. Mourinho feels Pogba is too distracted by his commercial entourage. Pogba did integrate better and had settled his differences at the end of the season, but Raiola is desperately trying to offer Pogba to other big clubs and the fat @#%&! is not on good terms with Mourinho.

Martial wants to leave and has made up his mind. He has concrete offers from both Bayern and Chelsea.

Get used to it.

This is what I don't get, all the anger for Mou, yeah the football isn't great at the moment but those gaps identified are obvious to all. He has asked the board for support to address it but they aren't playing ball. The real enemy is Woodward and the Glazers, top 4 is our only ambition, doesn't matter who the manager is this won't change.

Exactly.

People saying he should get the best out of what he’s got...

He’s done that over the last two seasons, but it’s only so much you can get out of the likes of Smalling, Jones, young, etc...

All of whom were signed by a bloke who retired nearly 6 years ago.

yet we all wonder why Mourinho looks disinterested, disengaged and unhappy. Lets be honest, if I had to deal with the Glazer, Richard Arnold and Ed Woodward penny pinching despite announcing record profits and "new commercial partners" I would be suicidal

This is the team who sanctioned 60m on Angel Di Maria folks
