Thumbs down

horrible line-up considering the money we spent in the summer & all the optimism over Van Gaal's "philosophy"

Fellaini ffs:shakehead:

What the £#%&! does Mata need to do to get a start? Herrera.
I'm a fan, but he has hardly been uniformly excellent this season.

Due to injuries, bar the pube headed lump it's about the best line up we could expect given it's a tough away game. Presumably either Herrera's ribs are still dodgy or LVG for some inexplicable reason actually prefers Fellaini to him as first pick

Has Di Maria played well when he's not been in the team? (Genuine question by the way)

Anyway he deserves to start based on his 20 minutes against Palace.

That lump fellaini again? I'll level with you - I'm worried. Arsenal are a bit £#%&! too though.

Optimistic forecast with that line up, tbh.

Why do so many of our injured players seemingly just vanish never to be heard of again? :shakehead:

Mata I can sort of see being left out because he has looked a bit out of place even though he has probably scored as many as anyone, but everything I've seen of Herrera has been good. whereas Fellaini is just a big lummox

Valencia at right back has been uniformly shite, I want to believe in big Louis but £#%&!ing £#%&!sticks, that team.

Watch Welbeck score about 8 here. We'll never hear the £#%&!ing end of it.

it's basically last years catastrophe of a team with a worse defence and di Maria. I don't know how anyone canexpect anything but a similarly poor performance.

I have to go out at so will miss the last 30 mins when their second and third go in...

This habit of going into big games expecting a sound beating is not one I'm enjoying.

Not confident.

Arsenal have been shite this season, we didn't conceded against them last season did we?

maybe not the best XI available on paper but the potential for tactical variation is there - faith is restored

hopefully it goes well and the naysayers (whining @#%&!s) begin to accept that the team is more important than who you think should or shouldn't be in it

Valencia is awful at right back too.

sanchez is going to kill us.

The only positives to the formation change might be more freedom for shaw and di maria back into a formation where he did more damage than 4-4-2.

The herrera for fellaini thing is getting silly now though.

arsenal are not exactly bullies. With the inexperienced back four, we need to retain possession as much as possible. so why mata and herrera don't feature, I really don't know.
